Elk Plain Press
Elk Plain Press provides publishing service for all traditional and electronic "print" which includes paper, CD, DVD, print on demand, and web download. We welcome all authors especially those with a passion for history. Our staff provides editing, formatting, and production. Manuscripts for consideration are preferred on CD or DVD. Along with books, journals, newsletters, pamphlets, etc., we also construct websites for non-profit organizations as a part of our community service.
Notes to authors: Our notes and style guide are under revision and will be posted in June 2010. Please check back often.
We recently prepared an article on the impact of art on U.S. Indian Policy for the Congressional Quarterly Press. We prepared the graphics, did the editing, and formatted for print the monthly Newsletter for the Little Big Horn Associates. We are currently working on potential publications about First Peoples moccasins, the Petroglyph National Monument, a proposed biography of the Crow warrior White Swan, and the template painting for the Custer Cyclorama from the early 20th Century.
Our flagship publication, Rubbing Out Long Hair, is now available for purchase and immediate shipment.
